Who we are

Ice Cream Shop Academy is an educational project of Mike Boutin Marketing, run by Mike Boutin. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website, early-access form and intro-call booking page. Contact: mike@icecreamshopacademy.com.

Information you provide

The early-access form collects your name, email address, whether you already own a shop or plan to open one, and an optional phone number. Booking a call requires your name, email address and phone number so Mike can call you. We also receive messages and information you choose to send us. Please do not submit payment details, passwords, sensitive personal information or confidential shop records through these forms. There is no checkout on this site.

How we use information

We use your details to maintain the early-access list, send the confirmation and course updates you request, answer your questions, arrange intro calls and keep track of our conversations. We use your shop-status answer to make our follow-up relevant to your situation. Providing an optional phone number does not subscribe you to texts. We do not run SMS campaigns through these forms.

Website technology

Hostinger hosts the website. HighLevel/LeadConnector powers our lead forms, contact management, email follow-up and booking calendar. Email providers may collect delivery information, message opens and link clicks through tracking links or small images in emails. These services may process technical information such as IP address, browser information and security logs, and may use cookies or similar storage needed for their features. We do not use advertising pixels in this setup.

Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and traffic sources are useful and to count completed early-access signups and intro-call bookings. Google processes technical information such as browser and device details, approximate location, referral information and activity on the site. Analytics may use cookies to distinguish visits. Our signup and booking analytics events describe the action, rather than the names, email addresses, phone numbers or messages you submit.

You can accept or decline optional analytics through the website cookie banner. Declining analytics does not prevent you from reading the guide, joining the list or booking a call. Sharing and service providers

We use hosting, form, calendar, contact-management and email providers to operate this service. They process submitted contact details, messages, booking details and relevant technical information for those functions. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where those providers operate. We do not sell or rent the early-access list, or share it for other businesses' own marketing. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or the security of our service.

Your choices and requests

You can leave the early-access list using the unsubscribe option in our emails or by emailing mike@icecreamshopacademy.com. You can also ask us to correct or delete your information, provide access to it, or explain how it is used. We will verify requests as reasonably needed and respond in accordance with applicable law. Some records may need to be kept for legal, security or legitimate business reasons. If you disagree with our response, reply to the same address with Privacy appeal in the subject line. You may also contact your relevant privacy regulator.

Retention and security

We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, handling requests, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards and limit access to people and providers who need it to operate the service. No website, email service or storage system is completely secure.

Children and outside links

This site is intended for adults planning or operating a business, not children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate. Links to outside sites are governed by those sites' policies.
